I would disagree it's one of "his" best (depending on how much of it he actually wrote), seeing as the finished film has some good ideas but didn't turn out particularly well (needing to be so heavily recut as it was). It's like a great concept for a movie that didn't pan out, though it's still entertaining for what it is.
