looks like those of us who posted a comment on the official site too early aren't getting a code. i know it'll be open to everyone soon, but to not give it to people who deserve it now is beyond annoying. i hope sony learns from this DISASTER of a "beta"

Well that's no fun. I'm in the 700's and I haven't gotten anything yet.

I'm hoping whoever was right, in saying that they were sending them out alphabetically (since I could then understand why 't' hasn't come around yet). But I doubt they compiled the list of 1,000 names, and then sorted it alphabetically, but I'll pretend they did, so I think I still have a chance.

Speaking of status messages, has anyone ever experienced a glitch where some of your friends had the same status message as you?

I had a rather long and random message the other day, and I noticed a few of my friends (2 or 3 of them) had the same thing. I don't know if they did it to copy me, or if it was some weird glitch on my system.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, not really sure what caused it.

unless we wake up in the morning to codes, it looks like we were lied to and the official site did a pool instead of the first 1000. its the only way it explains why so many under 1k didn't get it, and so many after 1k did

Some commenters keep mentioning registering your PS3. I don't know if the news site has a way to verify if a PS3's serial was registered, but having a PS3 was one of the requirements to receive a code, and I don't know how else they could check that.

Unless, of course, having a PSN name requires a PS3, but I don't know if it does.

there were people who got a code without registering, but mine is.

anyways..i guess people are getting resistance 2 beta invites now. didn't get one of those either.

now i'm actually kind of pissed, why am i part of the gap/underground if i don't even get invited for this stuff? i did a ton of beta's on the ps2, none so far on the ps3. sighhh

ok..enough complaining from me, i give. best of luck to you guys. maybe somebody will win me an extra code
