The difference is the the walking dead SHOULD have been rated MA to begin with. There's nothing wrong with the muppets.

One Million Moms is effective to a point. Such as changing the rating of a show, or moving a show to a new time-slot so that children can't watch it. However, when it comes to removing TV shows from the network, it's a bit harder to convince network execs of that.

What's so ridiculous is that One Million Moms is complaining about "The Muppets' being seen by children when its an obvious fact that the series has been advertised as a TV series for adults. They're only mad because ABC isn't producing this TV series for the kids.

There was a similar uproar when Dora The Explorer was redesigned for a more mature audience. The decision to revamp Dora The Explorer as a "Tween" caused an uproar with moms who labeled tween Dora a tramp and complained that she would be a 'bad girl'. When cartoons or children's shows evolve for teenagers or an adult audience, mom's everywhere start spelling out doomsday scenarios and start preaching to everyone about how this is a bad thing.

I hope ABC doesn't cater and leaves The Muppets like they currently are. The only advice I have for One Million Moms is this: if you don't like The Muppets, change the channel.

I loved it! One Million Moms need to get a real job. This show is marketed to adults that grew up with The Muppets, not their kids. If your kids love it too, well then, your kids are just that cool.

A lot of potential in the Muppets 2015 show for some really funny jokes and skits. Looking forward to the next episode.

I'm not sure what to think after one episode. Liked some of it, disliked other parts. I'm going to reserve judgment until I see a few more.

I watched it yesterday finally and thought it was great. I laughed pretty hard at a few places (which I won't mention for spoilers). And the fact that Kermit's new gf is a pig named Denise made me laugh so hard since my wife's name is Denise I added it to the DVR every week after it was over.

Yeah, I felt the same way. I was never a huge fan of the Muppets when I was young so I don't have a nostalgia attachment to them, so with this I found some stuff that was funny but also didn't care for a lot of it. I'll keep watching it for now but am not sure how I'll feel about the show long-term.

I liked the premiere, but the second episode was much stronger. Some of my favorite jokes from tonight:

"No dirty pictures."
"Maybe I can turn it into a saxophone."

"No problem, I'll just take the battery out of your car to remind you to come see me."

"What? He's a handsome man and gender is fluid."

"Was he mad, or...?"
"I take messages, I DON'T JUDGE TONE!!!"

The running jokes about Gonzo's mom.

"I had a rough night last night."
"What happened?"
"I watched your show... and it sucked!"

"But it turned out to be a learning opportunity for my daughter: if you want something, don't count on dad."

Mine were:

"Now i wake up to the sound of my alarm instead of my own screams"

And the last 5 mins were the best

Kermit to Josh Groban: "Out of my way dork."

The way he said that had me laughing out loud!

Finally got around to watching the first episode. I really enjoyed it. Pretty much what I expected and wanted. I grew up with the Muppets and even watched the Muppet Babies, and I like the new "adult" spin on them with this show.

Its very self aware, and honestly, I think it is original. For a group that used to be aimed towards mainly kids, this is definitely a different take.

I loved the reboot movie a lot and liked the second one a good bit, so this show is kind of like the icing on the cake, especially with the adult-aimed spin. And honestly, to those that are skeptical, I'd give it a few episodes because maybe it'll just take a few to find its... bearings (wocka wocka).

I think much of this show is cgi, specifically when the muppets are on screen.

They move too oddly and there is a slight image jitter when they move around.

Something with the way their arms move to well and facial expressions.

They renewed a lot of shows today and Muppets wasn't one of them. If Disney/Marvel can keep shoving them money to renew SHIELD maybe they can do the same for Muppets.

I'm still enjoying it but it's a shame they couldn't keep up with the more adult jokes from the first few episodes.

I don't understand some of the negatives towards this show. Personally, I think the new Muppet show is fantastic!
