All of my Third Window Tsukamoto releases, including Bullet Ballet, have slipcovers (except Kotoko - did that ever have one?)

No Kotoko didn't have one. I'm not sure if the covers are limited or not.

I don't think Love Exposure came with a slipcover upon release either.

It didn't. But it is not Tsukamoto.

I have a feeling the 'limited' nature of slipcovers is a more recent thing for TWF, and all copies of their earlier Blu-ray titles have slipcovers as standard. Right?

I say this because Tetsuo also has a slipcover, and I don't think I've ever seen a non-slipcover version of it. Also, in both cases the insert in the actual Amaray case has no information on the back, so surely couldn't be sold separately from a slipcover (they'd have to change the insert design and do a reprint).

Either way, pleasantly surprised! I actually prefer the slipcover artwork too.

I think Tetsuo was the first to get a slipcover and I suspect TWF did it because they saw it more as a "big deal" of a release as it was a big cult film and came with the sequel and another early Tsukamoto film as an extra. Kotoko was released at the same time and didn't get a cover.

Since then I think they've stuck to slipcovers for their Tsukamoto releases while other releases have or haven't got covers on a case by case basis, based I guess on how much TWF consider it will add to appeal/sales.

If anyone has the Arrow Battles Without Honor And Humanity set, there is a great special feature on the Proxy War disc called "Tales Of A Bit Player" that talks a fair bit about Uzumasa Limelight. A nice surprise, and might get some people to check out the Third Window release when it comes out.

Yeah, I think Adam has mentioned before that it has a French sales agent asking for way too much.

Bullet Ballet and Tokyo Fist probably also limited. It's just too expensive to make slipcovers and nice packaging for a small company like ours, so we won't renew the slipcovers for the next set (less than 100 copies of each available)

Anything else going short on stock? I'm working my way through your catalogue so I'd rather prioritise things that might disappear!

Does Tetsuo still come with a slip? If so, I'll pick it up ASAP. If not I'll pick it up, but not so ASAP.

New directors from Japan set has about 75 copies before going oop. A lot of dvds are soon to go oop.

Ruined heart still about 450 before going oop
