When they first started releasing videos, TT issued a DVD of Fox's The Left Hand of God starring Bogart. Any word on whether they plan a Blu-ray of this title?

I hope TT would release Bulworth. There has been no love so far for this film on Blu-ray, but this has been one of my favorite films. The score is composed by Ennio Morricone, so having the isolated score track is a plus (though lots of rap music were used in the film).

Then my guess is they were waiting for the launch of the Ultra HD 4K platform. I'd say we will see a release of both within the next year.

Beatty has some say on his films. TT wanted Shampoo and it was not available to them. Rumor is that Criterion has it and may be the same with Bulworth.

One of my faves right behind Heaven Can Wait (unreleased) and Bonnie and Clyde. I also love the film Love Affair (1994) also unreleased.

One of my favorite Beattys is Mickey One. Very nouveau vague, and more than a little indebted to Shoot the Piano Player, it deserves a wider audience.

Nightmare Alley is the big request that I can think of off the top of my head.

Mark of Zorro would be my most wanted Tyrone Power title not out yet, but I could also go for some of the above ones. I'd really like to see Abandon Ship again. I don't know how long it's been since the last time I saw it. I don't think there has been a dvd release in the states. It was Columbia, so I believe it would be with Sony (not sure though.)

I've heard the rumor of Criterion having Shampoo, but not Bulworth. That would be a strange release. . . were did you hear this rumor?

The March new releases are shipping from SAE. I just received my tracking number for "Exodus", "Experiment In Terror", "The Big Heat" and "Where The Sidewalk Ends"!

Left Hand of God was released in France on Blu. I've got it on the way right now.

That newer TT site has Dogs of War in the "going fast" section, so I guess that qualifies as low quantity but who knows? That's one area they need to improve, is updating us on what is running low, that's usually what triggers me to make an order.

Cool. My copy of Exodus looks like it may be tied up a while as I also pre-ordered the expanded OST of The Long Good Friday, which still shows a "planned" release date of "Mid March." I'm a big fan of SAE but I'm sure they don't ship items separately as they become available, despite the premium shipping rates.

I highly doubt this. Why would you skip a whole medium in in 1080p? The difference between SD and 1080 is much greater than going from 1080 to UHD. There has to be another reason they have not been released. I would be more inclined to believe they were going to release mwhen the next Avatar film comes out. I think they are way behind on those aren't they?

I guess if there is to be another anniversary sale we should hear about it within the next week. Last year the announcement came on 24th March and the sale started a day later.
