Your 14.10.2008 Blu-ray purchases

Ok…guys next week is probably the biggest week in terms of new and catalog releases in the history of the Blu-ray format. The anticipation is building, and it should be fun to know what everybody is planning to buy. I will start it off with my own purchases for the week: Indiana Jones and the KCS, The Ultimate Matrix Collection, American Gangster, Eastern Promises, and Mongol. How is this the biggest week? It is headlined by the most disapointing movie of the summer and an overpriced catalog box set that has already been released in HD. Last week was much much bigger with Iron man and the Ultimate Comedy box set.

I will however be buying Indy 4 Tuesday and the matrix trilogy as soon as it gets below 60 bucks on Ebay.

Everyone has a different opinion, and maybe I exagerated a bit .However, the The Matrix Trilogy on its own is a huge release (price is a separate issue). There is just a great selection for the week, much more so than ever before.
