I don't know if it's going OOP or not, but right now you can still pick it up at DrafthouseFilms.com for $10 plus $9.50 domestic shipping ($19.50 total). Amazon might just be waiting on more inventory; third-party Amazon sellers often jump the gun on things like this.

Heads up, Blue Underground just posted on Facebook that several titles are going out of print, including Romero's The Crazies!

Thanks for the tip on The Crazies. I was able to find a new copy on eBay for $11 shipped.

edit: I see it on the Drafthouse website. The blu is going for 10 bucks. Wonder if that will last?

IMO it's the best trailer compilation disc out there. There aren't as many trailers on it as others, but it's a quality-over-quantity thing. Some of them are utterly hilarious and the "flow" of the disc makes for a really watchable view, even in one sitting.

I had thought Trailer War was exclusively sold at Drafthouse's site, but it's available through them on Amazon for $22.99 with Prime free shipping. I hope it isn't OOP, I want it myself, but there doesn't seem to be indication that it is.

I don't think it's OOP. I had to buy it through Drafthouse's site, and I bought a couple of titles at the same time to off-set the cost of s/h. It does pop up at Amazon from time to time, but always seems to be jacked up by 3rd party sellers when it appears. At least that's how it seemed to be before I actually pulled the trigger and just ordered it through from them directly.

I've meant to pick up The Crazies for awhile, so the OOP announcement prompted me to look around town--I just picked up the last copy in HMV stores here in Calgary on my lunch hour.

Agreed. I'm not big on hyperbole and rarely post absolutes, but this film is one of the best horror pictures of the last 20 years. It has depth and insight, is unique, witty and even a bit scary. Zombie movies come and go, but this one plays by its own rules and is so original, it stays with you after watching it. I highly recommend it.
