Who knows. All I know is that the only way Sony can even think about competing with Nintendo for supremacy is price. Nintendo don't exactly have the strongest game line up, but they are still beating the crap out of Sony in the marketplace.

It wouldn't work, since it's not a pack-in. People are usually unlikely to buy peripherals, and developers are less likely to make games that will use these peripherals, which makes people even more reluctant to buy this stuff.
