absolutely. Never had experience with previous bluetooth , but it does everything as advertised. Communication is crystal clear in game , notification on the screen is perfect, fits nice on either ear and buttons are well placed.

Whew. I just finished playing Socom for 3 hours. It's 4am here, so bed time.

But, I enjoyed the game. People were talking some and the chat is always very good.

It's a learning curve for me, but I played against some good players, so whenever I managed 1 kill for the round (no respawns), I was very happy. I even killed a few guys in a round again and got some assists.

However, my stats only show me as playing 5 games (I played for 3 hours on a ranked game). I'm hoping it updates with my time.

BTW, I created a BLU clan to make sure we get the BLU tag. If you have Socom and want to join up, just add me to your friends list (Copywriter) and send me a message.

Thats good to hear that I was thinking of replacing my current Cheap-o Bluetooth. It has way too much static when trying to understand what other people are saying. The problem for me so far has been that if I wanted to get a 'good one' it'd be too expensive. I'm looking forward to see a special on it before I purchase it though.

wow, well after 45 min of downloading. and about 6 months of my friends talking up socom( i never played socom) this is a huge letdown. words cant describe how pissed i am. does anybody else have a hard time figuring out whos on your team and whos not? andthe graphics i think suck. i guess ill give this another try when im not so frustrated, but i really hope the other praised games(LBP, KZ2, resistance 2) are not letdowns like this. sorry i just feel cheated. still think CoD is way better.

I haven't played the new Socom but on old ones names would always be above your team mates and not on others, also it can't be that hard to distinguish a terrorist from a Navy Seal

you shouldnt be comparing it COD - no one ever said it would be the same ! lol this is very funny to hear peep always upset over this - it isnt COD ! , this is way harder and foget your run and gun , leave it at the door!

once you take a step back and go slower and think rather than run - you will enjoy it more, it does have steeper learning curve as well, once the fix up that server issue from last night it should be pretty good shape, most rest works pretty well right now , def a good game once you change your mind set to tactical.

plus the headset does work very well , good deal to get both, someone also mention to try and add the jabra ear gels for a better fit / comfort. couple bucks on amazon.

Scanning takes long to get bluetooth to work?

Its just not working for me to get headset to registered.

All three of those gripes should not exist as you can already do this.

1. Games do start up with majority greened up.. maybe they can lower it, but it will start without everyone having to green up.

2. You can mute players.. while in lobby highlight the player and press X and scroll down to Mute.

3. You can create a game for yourself.. you can even make it private so others cannot join unless you invite them.. these games are called custom games, and you can do it once you are connected to any server.. instead of "join a room" select "create a room".

Do you just go to manage bluetooth devices and let it scan? I've got the bluetooth charged connecting to the USB port? It just just says scanning? I guess it takes awhile?

That won't give you all the features of the headset.

PAIRING WITH THE PS3 SYSTEM: AUTOMATIC MODE

You must use the USB cable to pair your headset using the PS3 system automatic mode.

1. Check that the PS3 system is turned on.
2. Check that the PS3 system software is version 2.50 or later. If you have an earlier version, you need to update the software before you can use the automatic mode for pairing.
3. Insert the mini-B connector of the supplied USB cable directly into the USB connector on your headset. Insert the other end of the cable into a USB port on the PS3 system.

The power indicator on the headset lights up in solid green for two seconds to indicate that the headset and the PS3 system have been paired.

Call of Duty 4 = 60fps = smoothville, USA

Rainbow 6 / SoCom = 30fps = , USA
