Fall shooters - Blu-ray Forum

I'm in a bit of a dilemma I'm planning a trip to Florida for Thanksgiving and I'm limited to picking up only one new game this Nov. I haven't made any pre-orders because I'm torn between three shooters. So, I'm looking for peoples opinions on which game to pick up. My top three choices are Resistance 2, Call of duty WAW and Gears of War 2.

I just played the COD WAW beta last night, it's even better than COD4. GOW 2 will be good also. I plan on picking up both of these titles. Ifi had to pick up one, it'd be COD WAW

Gears of War 2. The first one was a classic and this one is looking to be waaaay better. I'd also look into COD 5, but trust me, Gears of War 2 is gonna kill all other games.

My thanksgiving will be filled with fallout 3.

If you had to get only one, then it's a no-brainer: GOW2!

This game just looks awesome and will NOT be a disappointment. BTW, I'm planning on getting all 3. It's nice having a 17 year-old son to split the cost of these games with, though he didn't like Resistance (

), so I'll be picking that one up later in the year (hopefully for less $$) after I've had my fill of GOW2 and COD5.

Resistance 2 easily. So many modes, campaign mode looks bad ass and 8 player co-op is going to rock as well

I am planning on getting .. none of them (too many good games out for my budget), but if I had to choose one, it'd be R2, no question.

GFX look great, but the scope (epic) and versatility (8 player coop separate campaign? sign me in + 64 multiplayer) are unmatched, at least as far as I know.
