Looks like my Walmart is finally moving in the same bad direction as others. Last week in addition to the $7.88 Blu-bin, they had a 3D shelf section, $9.96 shelf section and $7.88 shelf section in one isle, a $14.96 stand and sporadic BDs mixed in the new titles with dvds. They sometimes even had 1 or more endcaps with $4.96 sale BDs and similar.

Today, only the $14.96 stand remains and BDs mixed in the new titles... and luckily the blu-bin which is well stocked. Everything else is replaced with DVDs and the music section I've never seen anyone looking at. No sign of the titles that were on the missing sections, probably boxed up and sent back.

As long as they don't take away the blu-bin since that's mainly all I buy there anyway.

Sometimes I wonder how many people say they can't play blu-ray but actually own a Playstation or X-Box that can play them, but they're too stupid to realize.

DVD will never die, I'm still trying to explain DVD to my parents. Dad has finally figured out how to use it, mom on the other hand still hasn't figured out the VCR they bought in 2002

Stopped in to my local WM this evening and picked up Mannequin (the last one left) and City Heat.

Quick question, City Heat has IW and I have no idea how this works. It says to scan the receipt with the Walmart app and I can watch it on any Vudu device. Well, I did that and I don't see the movie in my Vudu collection.

I picked up a copy of ID4, 20th Anniversary Edition, this morning (with slip) from the $7.88 dumpster.
It indeed rang up $7.88.

If nothing else, this thread makes me so grateful that my WalMart has an overflowing bin that has most of the titles listed and doesn't remove old entries. Several copies with slips in very good/brand new condition.

I'm not sure why this store is this way. The one five miles into town is terrible.

Until something comes along and boots out Netflix. But again there are tons of lazy people. So I guess we don't have to worry about that.

I'm not an expert at this, but I believe you will either receive an email/notice on your phone from the Walmart app telling you have a digital movie ready to redeem, or if you have your WM account already inked to VUDU, it will automatically deposit it into your VUDU account. If none of these and the title say it's IW, then you may need to contact VUDU to "fix" the problem.

I am in the midst of email tag with Vudu too since none of the Batman or Superman movies gave me the IW copies. And of course, they are in no hurry to fix anything.

You'll need to make sure your Walmart.com and Vudu accounts are connected first before the IW copies show in your account.
