Anyways, back when this was published in 2011, pretty much the only things people knew her from were "Gossip Girl" and the 2 Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films. Now, those movies were popular, but not necessarily with the demo that would be thinking about who the most desirable woman in the world is.

And GG was a cult hit, and a minor cultural phenomenon for a while. But still, it was on the CW. And again, most of the demo that was into it was not necessarily the demo that would care about this.

So, actually, thinking back on it, it's interesting that they chose her. Oh, and she had just been in The Town, where although she was spectacular in her role, she was hardly a main character (though she's very important, obviously).

Do you think she's more desirable than Gal Gadot?

Well, considering I've seen Gal Gadot in all of one movie ever, and I've seen Blake Lively in 8 films and 121 episodes of a TV show, it's tough for me to choose Gal no matter how "desirable" she is.
