Im in that nostalgic Nintendo mood. So lets get it crackin. Most of yall should know this as we have done this in the movie forum and I even did a overall video game contest years back that was very successful. So this will be Top 25 Nintendo System Games of All Time. Games that qualify are any game on any Nintendo system/console. Handheld systems however do not count.

How does it work? It's easy. You come up with a list of what you think are the Top 25 Nintendo System Games of All Time. Based on how they place on your list, the game will receive a certain amount of points. The Top 20 games on your list will be scored accordingly:

1. 20 Points
2. 19 Points
3. 18 Points
4. 17 Points
5. 16 Points
6. 15 Points
....
12. 9 Points
13. 8 Points
14. 7 Points
15. 6 Point

Every game placed after the 20th spot will also receive 1 point. So essentially, you only have to rank the Top 20 while putting the remaining 5 in no particular order.

RULES
1. Games from these Systems qualify only: NES, SNES, N-64, Gamecube, Wii, & Wii U. Please do not list any games from the handheld console. So not Game boy, DS games etc.. Those games will not count!!!!!!!

2. You may base your list on best/favorites Nintendo games or however it works for u. To me best/favorites go hand in hand for the most part. It doesn't matter how bad the game may be perceived by everyone else this is your opinion only so dont be afraid to list what u feel u want to list!

3. SERIES/Franchise DO NOT COUNT AS ONE. It was quite aggravating in one of the other threads to see somebody's number 1 film of all time be: The Original Star Trilogy or The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. These are 3 films, not 1. So if you put the Mario Bros. Franchise as your number one game of all time, I won't count your list. List each game separately in its own spot please. Simple as that!

4. Do NOT put multiple games at the same ranking. Don't put 3 games at the number one spot then start the list at 4 following it. Put only ONE game at each rank, or I won't count your list.

5. Since this is for fun and discussing movies should be fun, be respectful of each other. If somebody has Luigi's Mansion at number 1, who cares? The point of the thread is to find out what the community as a whole thinks is the top Nintendo game of All Time.

6. Deadline: September 1st, 2016 12am PST. I wont take any lists after this. So make sure you get it in before then. This should be plenty of time to make a list.

This should be fun and looking forward to the turn out! Got Em!!

I was busy this weekend, but I will play.

Here are my top 25 Nintendo games of all time, ranked in order.

NEW LIST COMING CZAR

I ranked them based on the level of enjoyment I receive from them, based on my replay of the games, also on presentation, and how I felt which game was best.

These are my top 25 Nintendo console games of all time. I had a little trouble finding games once I got past 20, the last five are all I could think of. Most games I enjoy on Nintendo consoles tend to be made by other companies though which even many of these are.

Since the rules did not specify Nintendo developed or Published I went with both, games Nintendo developed and games they just published or games they are known for even if they had little to do with them. Also since you said any game on any Nintendo system I assume you also mean 3rd party but I made my list limiting it to games Developed or Published by Nintendo, it would look vastly different if I included 3rd party games so please edit the first post to clarify if 3rd party games are allowed, that would mean Mega Man, Street Fighter, Sonic Adventure, etc, or just games Nintendo put their name on.

See this is why I suggested the OP specify if 3rd party games were allowed, I already see 1 SEGA game on your list that was a port of a Dreamcast game, that game should not count in my opinion because it's really a Sega game. I am not sure about Endless Ocean, never heard of it, so I can't comment if it is a Nintendo game or not if so fair if not I think they should be removed also. If the OP comes back and says sure 3rd party games are allowed you just have to specific the console it was on, i.e. Mortal Kombat II SNES or Sonic Adventure DX Game Cube, then you have to ignore my entire list while I re-do it to be accurate.

I like this game but the OP was not clear enough in the rules.

As long as the game was released on any of the home Nintendo consoles and you could buy the cartridge or disk then it counts. If not then it doesnt count. Well lets get more people to participate. I am working on my list now. I want to atleast get 2o people or more to participate so we can have tru results. Got Em!!

I think the rules should be changed to include handheld games because many of Nintendo's best games are for their handheld devices. To me it's like doing a 'Best Doctor Who Episodes' list and not including the classic series.
