ah yes..... got this on HD DVD, and would LOVE a blu-ray transfer if they do the audio justice....... The PQ on the HD DVD is good enough for me, but for the sake of "unifying" my collection, I'll purchase it on Blu-ray for sure.

I think I'll watch Chinatown again soon..... I watched it recently, but didn't really take away much from the audio.... the PQ isn't too hot though on the DVD.

I watched the first 3 Indiana Jones movies on VHS recently , damn they look like CRAP!!

In the extras on Indiana Jones '4' they show clips of the first 3 in HD & they look REALLY NICE!!! Please release them!!!!!

The Straight Story on DVD.
The PQ is amazing for SD.
Unlike most Lynch movies there's not much in the way of loud music. Mostly just quiet conversations, so the 5.1 DD is just fine, but again i would re-buy on blu simply because i know there would be some improvement.
Non-HD content can still look and sound great, but it's very rare.
