I think it's just the "new" look of Universal slipcovers. With rounded edges.

Universal's slips are interesting. Everyone already noticed the corners are rounded but the art is plastic glued onto the cardboard (like a lenticular slip). People looking for a pristine slip might have a hard time since the plastic does appear to be easily scratched during shippment.

Hey at least they're trying something. Would rather have one of those slips than a Fox or Sony no-slip.

I'm glad I just trash the slips as soon as I rip the plastic covering off.

I got my pre-order in when Amazon had the Prime day sale. So I'm looking forward to watching Oblivion in UHD with HDR.

Where are the obligatory ratings on the cover I wonder? Make me think this is a early mock up only or have UK finally understood we don't want them on the front?

The 3 others (Everest, Lucy and Lone Survivor) in the same batch from Universal all have the ratings and a HDR sticker, so I think it will be on Oblivion also when released.

My understanding is that they are legally obliged to have them on the front and the spine when being displayed for sale. Hence the exception on the other side of the reversible covers, like the Arrow titles.

Very, very pleased with the UK cover art. Will still be curious to see the reviews as I find it hard to believe that the AV quality on this could be better than the original release. Very exciting.

Although I know the UHD disc will obviously have a slight edge, I completely agree with you. I remember the first time I saw this on blu, that very first shot of Tom waking up, the close up on his face, nearly made my jaw drop. Breathtaking video quality throughout this entire release.
