Aren't these the extended versions though?

I have never seen them since the original releases were so expensive. These seem like great low-priced alternatives.

They're very nice covers and my big box set is annoying to deal with, but $15 a piece is way too much for a re-buy. That's $120, more than the big box goes for.

First two films are extended. The rest are not. There's hope from fans that a future release with remastered video would possibly included extended editions from the rest. From what I understand, Newell, Cuaron, and Yates were all offered to do extended editions for their films and they declined....

Essentially these are the 16 BD's out of the UE and 16 of 19 of the BD from the Hogwarts/Wizards collection missing the 2 3D discs and Disc 31 Exclusive bonus

It sounds like the Digital Copies redeem for 9 of the movies missing only the Extended edition of HP2.

I just bought all 8 of the semi-new Target Harry Potter BDs with the lovely new slips.

I price matched Amazon to get them for $10 each at Target with perfect slips.

I was hoping to 100% confirm that the 2nd disc is loaded with extras (not just a single part of the new documentary).

No one seems to be reviewing these releases, so it's almost a blind buy for me extras-wise.

If these 2-disc releases are the first two discs of the Ultimate release, they should be loaded:

There's alot of critical stuff like deleted scenes and whatnot that *should be* on disc 2.

If not, I'm taking them all back and looking for a used Hogwarts Collection for $80-90.

*Raises hand* These do look perfect for me as I haven't bought them yet and would like to introduce my daughter to the films, but I agree that at $15 they are too much. When they drop to $10 I'll bite.

no kidding!! It always amazes me that people are going on about picking up new or reduced in price copies of films like these......

or titles like JAWS, ALIEN, the James Bond films, etc.... I just can't imagine waiting forever for "A" list titles like these....

I still have my Trunk HD DVD set and haven't bothered to get the Blu-rays to replace it. I do have Parts 6 to 7.2 on Blu though.

I have the big trunk with all the doors and drawers and do-dads. So I'm all set, HP-wise, for good. It figures they would release new configurations before Fantastic Beasts, though.

Be wary, friends. I know it's been said before, but the extended editions aren't director's editions. I wouldn't mind the extended doc, but the first versions were pretty loaded if they've dated a little.

I haven't yet. I just want the most complete set and also became a fan, just the movies, in 2013.

The artwork is great so I'd get just SS and CoS since never I had the money for the expensive ultimate sets to get the extended versions, but naturally, these are out when I'm low on cash from the recent TV on BD sets lol and aren't these supposed to be limited? or is that just the poster?

It seems I'm the 3rd one in this thread to chime in. I've only seen the first movie, and never bought any of the films in any form. For a long while I didn't have the money and/or there were other priorities. Also waiting for a good deal. I was bummed when the Hogwarts Collection was a DotD last year at exactly the wrong time for me to afford it. But hopefully it'll happen again, or the price will get to be around that.
