Btw, the steelbook wrapped in bubble wrap al, between cardboard and then in a bubble mailer is a little under 10 oz, about $3.60 to mail first class.

I bought the first two copies in one store with cash because I happen to be in the area when they opened, and I bought the second two copies as a pre order for in store pickup on my Best Buy CC that I picked up at a different time and store.
So when I called, they adjusted the ones that were on my Best Buy CC.
If I want to price match the other two I'll have to make it to a Best Buy store within the next couple days.

I wouldn't want a blu ray mailed to me like that, and I would never send one out to someone like that. Full bubble wrap in a box is the only way I'll send to ensure protection.

Update: Called this AM, spoke to another rep. He totally helped and we even had a small conversation about the films and the genre in general. He said I'd receive the price adjustments to my account within 24 hrs.

UPDATE: Success! Initially, she wasn't going to give it to me. I asked "Even as an elite plus member.......?" and she then came back and said refund for $18 has been sent.

Now..... I had ordered this with the 13 Hours steelbook that came with the free $10 giftcard (which was used right away). Wonder if this has any impact, though it doesn't sound like it will.

Dang. I bought one of each and haven't even opened the Batman version yet. Was actually thinking about just returning it but didn't realize the return window was just 15 days for non-elite members. Thought it used to be more than that, or maybe I'm just clueless. Would've been nice to get back ~$28 on those, but oh well.

This is why Best Buy is always my last resort. But they have the exclusive Steelbook for Civil War so I'll pay the high price for it and know I most likely won't get a price reduction like on BvS Steelbook.

When BBY has the exclusive and you want it...well you're stuck and sometime resistance is futile!

I usually buy most of my stuff from Costco or Target [w/red card I get the additional 5% discount and they at least have a 30 day return, 45 day for red card holders]

I'd never buy a high priced item from BBY unless it was an exclusive steelbook or bonus disc. When it comes to Flatscreens and laptops...never

It's ok though, as I posted in another thread I'll make it up on BF.

Yeah, exclusive steels are just about all that I buy from there anymore also. Used to go in on my lunch breaks all the time to just browse their blu-ray sections, but haven't done that in a year-plus now w/the way the media section has been reduced. Really not a fan of this 15-day return window, but I guess it's their right to establish whatever policy they want.

Yup, and it's our right not to buy from them

Im guessing that comment is for me, so I'll explain publicly as I did via PM.

Retail was $32.65 on release day for me including tax. Which means I'm selling for less that what anyone would pay who walked into a Best Buy store(unless you have an unbelievable tax rate). I was able to price adjust down to $18.50 for each steel(includes tax), which is why I'm even able to offer it for retail pricing.

After the cost of a box and bubble wrap, plus the shipping fee (the steelbook won't fit in the small flat rate priority mail box, I tried) and then the PayPal fee I'm already over $30. That's not even including gas or my time to run around and do this. So $32 seems fair to me just to maybe break even.

As much as I love to help other collectors, I'm not willing to lose money for anyone, which should be more than understandable. Im not making any money whatsoever on the sale.

I have four steels(2 of each), the 4k version, the 3D version, and the Target exclusive. I really have no problem keeping these extra 2 steels to myself.

If you are sad that you missed it on release day, and are happy and willing to pay release day retail price(NOT anything more), then this is for you.

If you're hoping to get the sale on steelbooks that are sold out (which means you aren't going to get the sale price anyway), then I'm sorry but I can't help.

Get over yourself. I never made it out like I'm doing someone a favor, but in reality I actually am. I'm selling the steel books for the exact price they would have paid on release day. NOT more like ebay sellers. You're so caught up on this sale, yet thats the only reason I'm able to sell them for this price. Its not my fault you're too cheap to pay retail for something. Go attack someone else.

Some of us here (including myself) are passionate about getting certain blu rays. If this steel book is something that a person really wanted and missed out on, heres a great chance for them to not have to pay extra for it. I would love to find certain steels for retail price.

Also, Superman steel has been sold! Batman still available.

You're correct, but I was just trying to offer it to people reading this thread who were bummed that they missed out on it.
