PSVR is in a challenging spot as it's separating itself from being compatible with all games, and that rarely works out in the long term for peripheral device. I have 3D glasses for an game console years ago, but they only made like 6 games for it. The VR has a much larger library for now, so hopefully that'll help sales. I want it to do well, but will be watching from the sidelines till it convinces me otherwise after a year of steady improvements in VR gaming.

Thanks. Yeah, that will be the key. I don't want just a frame rate or resolution improvement in games for $425 with tax (or $850 dollars with tax for the PS4 & the Pro upgrade), but a whole new graphical sight that isn't possible on PS4, so hopefully the games really show that off soon.

For that, I will wait if needed for a PS5, but I'll keep an open mind.

That is why Sony needs to advertise and make a big deal out of cinema mode. Not all games are VR but you can play all games with the headset on and watch movies. That should be a selling feature to most and something Sony needs to start showing.

Agreed. Cinema Mode is one of the main reasons I'm buying one. Do you know if it is able to play 3D?

I can imagine that being quite the experience.

I've heard conflicting reports. I hope it will but I think it's doubtful. I will be quite honest, I don't know much about technology so I'm not even certain it's possible.

I don't know if it plays 3D movies either. But I don't know why it couldn't or wouldn't since VR is the ultimate 3D already.

I voted for both though I won't be getting the pro for a little while at least because I need to pay off some car repairs first. But as Detective stated the VR experience on the regular PS4 is already very incredible so I can wait a while for the pro.

After a taste of the demo I won't be denied this... I can't hardly wait to get back in the cockpit of my own personal fighter ship.... Valkyrie is also going to be a cross platform game online. The Oculus players are looking forward to the PS4 players joining them. Been getting to know some of the regulars and they are a very friendly group.

Though I'm also very interested in getting a VR racer, And something scary like Resident Evil.

As Zivouhr mentioned some type of open world VR adventure game would really be something. I can see the potential for some great exploration type experiences with VR. From fantastical realms, to exploring the modern world.

All good man.

I just hope Sony doesn't treat this like Vita or PS-Go.

This is me pretty much.

I need Nintendo to reveal the NX so I can decide between Pro and NX. Either way I'll be getting NX when Pokemon launches.

What Pokemon? Why would you assume they'd release a Pokemon on NX? That's not something Nintendo does.

If I had to decide it would be the Pro.

As of getting one this fall. Most likely not mainly because I don't have any 4k equipment as of now until hopefully next year. Going to wait it out, or until my launch PS4 breaks down.

Neither. Wife would shoot me if I got another new TV and I have no interest in the PSVR.
