Sorry to hijack this thread, I didn't want to create a new one yet considering my problem is sort of tied in with the question here... I'll post what I did on AVforums
"I'm having trouble with the 605 and 1080p... this is what I've done up to now... Connected my ps3 directly to my 1080p display via HDMI, set the ps3 to 1080p, all works fine. Connect the ps3 to the 605 via HDMI, then 605 to the TV via HDMI, switch the ps3 on and the TV reads out on the HDMI1 channel "Mode not supported". I change the ps3 to a lower resolution and it works fine, 1080i and below. HDMI monitor is set to YES. Here's one strange thing for those interested... when I first switched the ps3 on it was in 1080p mode and I got the "Mode not supported" error, however, I left the machine on and it automatically started to play a blueray disc and suddenly the display started working. I cannot explain this." Can anyone help me with this? |
