You won't need to. The states that are getting charged sales tax are doing so because Amazon has physical warehouses in those states, and the states have sales tax.

I'm in MA, so I am very familiar with the wonderful state of NH and their non-existent sales tax (where I buy all my TVs, furniture, even an engagement ring to save money) so if the state law doesn't require it, you definitely won't be paying it on Amazon.

There are some states that for the longest time had no amazon physical presence and were still being charged tax. And this was after those states weren't being charged for a while.

The weekly newsletter gets stuck in spam filters sometimes yeah. I know in gmail is automatically goes to the "promotions" tab. There is an html version here: http://www.bullmoose.com/content/Email-Newsletter also if you'd like to just have a look

Day is going well so far. A few days behind in my goal is to watch a horror movie every day - but doing better than last year.

That girl from the email is nice young lady that worked in the Windham store for a few years before leaving us to become a vet tech! I hired her actually; very nice person.

i was looking down at the newsletter part something about email fill out and then click on a link about some list signup and underneath already on the list send update preferences link

so i'm kindof confused onto what to do i assumed when i 1st signed up and despite that i have checkmark subscribe to newsletter besides my email address under account information

i'll have to actually signed up for newsletter, or do that list signup? my email is an hotmail address btw that i'm using on the site and yes i have check junk mail inside nothing about a newsletter from bull moose

Good! I'll be happy to pay it. It isn't like retailers won't ship in boxes. They've just decided that at a certain size/weight, they aren't going to. But, some items are still shipped in boxes. Trust me, I already had given up on ordering through retailers if it was available locally. I only tried out BullMoose in the hopes that they either packaged better or maybe the damage I've seen with Best Buy/Amazon was happening during fullfillment and BullMoose would be better.

After the first two shipments being sent in envelopes and arriving with varying degrees of minor damage, I sent something asking if the rest of my order would be sent in a box since I had 6 more items that were supposed to come out this week and I hoped they'd all ship together. One had already shipped early in a mailer. One has a new release date (even though Amazon has had it in stock since the original release date). But, I was told that they'd put a note on my order to ship the rest in a box. They arrived today - 4 blu-rays stuffed in an envelope. I'm not sure even Amazon has tried that one yet. At least the outer blu-rays offer protection to the ones in the middle, I guess.

Just noticed that one of the items even has a hole in the spine of the slipcase. Geeze....

I've got a pending charge of $43.94 so hmmmm. That's concerning.

Has anyone ordered from here using a visa gift card (vanilla)? It keeps saying my billing info doesn't match the card. But it's a pre-paid gift card. Thanks.

It wants the address you registered the card with.

Any chance of the preorder for Arrow's Creepshow 2 limited edition going up soon? I'm hoping for a similar price to what The Hills Have Eyes is listed for. I see a lot of preorders I need to place for Arrow, Scream Factory, Vestron, and Vinegar Syndrome titles, all with excellent prices.

I didn't register an address with the card though, it's just a straight gift card with a Visa number, exp date, and cvs number. That's why I buy those so I don't have to have to register them. Never had an issue using them online before

Thank you Bullmoose! I had another great experience. I ordered Blood for Dracula and Flesh for Frankenstein on blu-ray and they arrived very fast in a nice thick padded envelope. I was also able to use points that I had aquired over the last year or two (Batman TV and Beatles 1+) to get one of my items for half off!

P.S. Blood for Dracula is serviceable and Flesh for Frankenstein should be avoided at all costs. Unfortunately they will have to do until someone like Criterion gets a crack at them...

It takes a total of 30 seconds to add an address to a gift card. There is a website listed on the card - punch in the card number and add an address. Easy peasy...

Actually with Visa Vanilla cards you can only add a zip code, not an address, or I would've done it already. Thanks for the advice though, slick

In Bull Moose defense, they did email me back saying their system has trouble with gift cards. I've never had a problem using these cards online before, so unfortunately I have to skip ordering with them...too bad cause their prices were much cheaper than anywhere else.

Ahh that's odd, I could have sworn it wanted an address. Then again its been years since I used one. I know there are a few companies that need an address in order for you to be able to purchase with them. I think it is to prevent fraud and to protect them. Thanks for the heads up about it not working though as I was going as now we'll know.

Anyone ever have concerns about providing their credit and/or debit card information on a smaller site like this?

Can one be confident that their security system is as reliable as a company like Amazon or Ebay?

I don't.

Depends on your card or financial institution's fraud center. Mine is ridiculously proactive to the point it's annoying but I'm happy they care so much. I've had considerably more problems with Best Buy and Amazon than any other e-tailer over the years. I don't trust the big boys. I don't even shop there or any big box online e-tailer or brick store anymore for that reason.

Anyways, major props to getting my price adjusted.
