Saw this at Odeon 'Screen Unseen' last night. Very typically Loach which is why I thought it was excellent. Hard to watch but very powerful. One scene in particular broke me

- there were some outstanding performances in this, especially from Hayley Squires. I hope to see more from her in future.

I can understand the criticism that this is a very one-sided view of the benefits system but really it didn't matter to me. The point was that it was this guy trying to do the right thing and was being constantly ground down by the system. I have family who have taken care of people who were caught in the same trap and there really is no exaggeration in what Loach portrays.
