(I think that means I got first place.)

Im not sure if this has question has been brought up. Is there any way you can freeze your sackboy when your changing your costume? Ive been wanting to try some cool ideas with a combination of stickers and items for my costume. The only problem is, in my pod when Im moving the said stickers and items to my sackboy, he wont hold still. This is especially a problem when Im trying to put something on the side of his head and he turns his head and the item or sticker ends up somewhere on his face.

ohh yeah if anyone wants to add me to their friends list. my PSN ID is Siegestryke

Actually the "First" trophy is being one of the first 10 people to play a level. I actually got my First trophy from that one too - having others on blu-ray.com telling us when their level is ready makes that easier.

GameTrailers viewers stalk SackBoy over 10 million times

Quote:
Here's an interesting fun fact. The aptly-named GameTrailers.com has just donned a "GT Diamond Award" to Sony Computer Entertainment. Why? Because the GT community has invaded SackBoy's privacy over 10 million times. That's a 1 with a lot of zeroes after it.

"Since LittleBigPlanet grabbed the spotlight at GDC 2007, our community has been eager to dive in and start living out their dreams of being game designers," said Shane Satterfield, editor-in-chief of GameTrailers.com. "With LittleBigPlanet, Sony and Media Molecule delivered a groundbreaking game that is also very entertaining, and we're happy to deliver the Diamond Award to such a deserving game."

"Winning the GameTrailers Diamond Award is a real honor for the whole team at SCEA and Media Molecule," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Product Marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment of America. "We're thrilled that the GT community enjoys the creativity and innovation in the game as much as we do."

The PS3 Fanboy community has helped LBP win the award, thanks to a number of videos we featured from the GT site. Of course, now that the game is out for all to enjoy, put down your binoculars and start playing!

Media Molecule flickr shows in-game image importing

Quote:
Who fancies a game of "will they, won't they?" After stating that image importing from your hard drive will be coming to LittleBigPlanet at Game City Media Molecule seemed to change tact and stated yesterday that there were "currently no plans" to implement such a feature. Normally that's where the issue would end, but some eagle eyed LBP fans have noticed something fishy on the Media Molecule flickr page.

The photo above (click it to see the full size version) is captioned "work in progress" and shows a new Popit menu tool. An "image import tool" which allows you to "import images from your PlayStation Hard Drive to use as stickers." The photo was uploaded yesterday, the same day Media Molecule denied having any plans for such a feature.

Sure, it could be a Media Molecule exclusive tool and not for external distribution, but then why post a photo of it when they know we're expecting the feature to be patched in? Only time will tell what exactly is going on. Until then, keep your PlayStation Eyes handy, just in case. Also, did you notice that Sackboy in the bottom right hand corner? So did we. We want it.

Hey guys I have a question.

If someone tries to join you while playing a level, do you have to do anything, or do they just appear at the next check point?

Many times people tried to join me while playing, but I'd go through like 3 check points before they just leave.

Some levels have the flag in the beginning that shows the sackboy face. Once you trip that, no one can join.

would you guys recommend this game for "the wife"?

...shes into games like Spyro and Mario brothers. Something simple yet real neat.

I want this game for myself, but I also don't want her to hate it because its too difficult.

so waddayasay?

Absolutely. You will be able to play together a lot and actually enjoy yourselves. Don't even hesitate on this one.

And when you do get it, play my levels, especially the Legends of the Hidden Temple one (shameless self promoting)!

BUY IT!! My wife is not good at games at all but loved playing through this co-op with me....then she started creating her own levels and now I have to fight for the TV.......lol

Just last night we started going back through it to get all the stickers and items we may have missed the first time through.

LBP should be right up her alley. It really is an awesome game.

The difficulty curve is gradual although later levels can cause problems for casual gamers. A lot of the cool unlockables are only available for acing levels which can get annoyingly frustrating at times. But, the game is not exceedingly difficult in any respect so she'll be fine.

Yup, the only real problem my wife had was that freaking wheel in the last world. But I think that was mainly becasue of the camera angles in co-op sometimes.
