I've just bitten the bullet and ordered this from Tom Holland's website. If it's never getting a re-release then I guess I have no choice.

I had no idea about the documentary coming out. Gone ahead and pre-ordered that as well.

I've ordered the same one. Once it arrives I will no doubt feel the same way.

Yes, it does. I ordered this picture disc copy. A little put off, that they have it, in a clear plastic sleeve. It's hard to display, in a bendable sleeve. The description on their website was not very detailed. I emailed them, to see if I could purchase a cardboard sleeve, but they said they didn't print extras.

I should've just ordered the regular copy, with the poster art on the cover, as well as a cool inner sleeve.

Doubt the movie can look any better on BD, but you might get a Sony release when TT's contract ends. It happened with Christine.

Mine arrived today, signed by Tom Holland.

Luckily I had the cash to spare to import this, so I won't be too upset if it ever does get a rerelease. I'll just be happy that others get a chance to buy it.

I would suspect you're right on this, or a MOD release at the very least.
However, I suspect it won't contain all those great TT supplements (especially if it's a MOD release).
I recently caught a 35mm midnight screening and if anything the film looked even darker than the blu.

Got burned by that too. I thought it was a little messed up not to convey that it would come without anything to house the disc itself...

As a record collector, I can tell you the clear plastic is standard for picture discs (because generally one wants to display the picture on the disc).

As a person that rarely collects records, it would've been nice, to have a more detailed description.

Only two more weeks:

(As a side note of interest to no one but me, but simply for the sake of venting: I brought my copies of Fright Night and Child's Play to the Rock/Shock convention yesterday to be signed by Chris Sarandon, but got caught up in other activities and realized suddenly that I had forgotten to see Sarandon. I walked back over to the celeb section only to see that it had been closed off. Glancing at my phone, I saw the time was 8:04. Four minutes late! Oh well.)

This totally slipped off my radar. I'd been hesitant to order a copy but with the exchange rate dropping it is now about $32 shipped to the US. I'm gonna need to get my pre order in soon.

A (hopefully minor) final delay for the documentary:

I assume they probably edited out the Fright Night II content?

Arrow featured edited segments of the huge Hellraiser documentary in their Scarlet Box.
