BDs That Are Out of Print (OOP)

Is "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn" OOP ? On Amazon.com I don't see it and on .ca it says temporarily out of stock. Only 2 resellers have it for sale as well.

That shows as default because it is cheapest, but Amazon still sells it if you look at the other sellers section.

Thanks guys. Here in Canada it seems pretty much gone on Amazon. Didn't know that it defaulted to something else than Amazon.com when looking on that site.

I agree. Just spreading the word that this current (and only available US version) appears to be OOP. I've had it for a while and I'm certainly not recommending anyone spend big $ on it... but it's nice to know so you can keep your eyes open for remaining inventory at stores or keeping your eyes open and used stores etc. if it's something you've been putting off.

Forget where it's coming from if fulfilled by amazon, just go by used prices. Once they cross over retail for a new one, you know something is really OOP! Of course some things are OOP and the used is still dirt cheap. That means no one cares and it will more than likely stay at dirt level.

I truly appreciate it this part of the thread. I picked up The Ring bluray at a pawn store for next to nothing a few weeks ago. I had no idea it was getting hard to find. I had just watched Chris Stuckman's youtube review of it days prior and wanted to rewatch the film.

I love reading this thread for this reason. It let's me know what to keep an eye out for. Today at a pawn store I scored The Twilight Zone movie. Just recently at the same store I also found Dead Alive and nearly had a heart attack. Not too long ago I've stumbled across Apocalypto, True Romance, and the original My Bloody Valentine. Thanks to the contributions in this thread I knew for sure to buy those ASAP or most likely never see them again. I would have probably bought all of those anyway because they are great films, but sometimes I tend to procrastinate buying stuff as long as possible or until it's too late.

Or sell it and capitalize and hope the others do get released. I have this with the lenticular slipcover.

Doesn't mean they're still printing them. Since Scream just put out Child's Play it is quite possible Universal's license has expired to sell it with their films.

I saw the Chucky collection at FYE the other day brand new...so they can still be found in stores. But if it really is OOP, better jump on it. This is a similar case with the Friday complete collection, which can still be found (rarely) at some Best Buy stores.
