I haven't been to Walmart in (what feels like) over a month. I guess the long, dry period we had for the bin (since July) kinda disenchanted me with making a trip. It's been wonderful to see all your posts over the last few weeks, and know that Walmart hasn't completely given up on the bin, even if they've given up on BDs in general. Thank you all so much for your contributions...The OP should be up-to-date with all the new titles reported in the thread.

So...$5.96? Is this a permanent change for ALL titles in the bin? (Much like BBY going from $7.99 to $5.99, and now 2 for $10!) Or, is it just the newer ones?

If it is official across the bin, then I guess we gotta update the thread title, and freak out the "norms" in the forum.

I'm sure neoz

will be on-hand in anticipation of making the change himself.

That's it for me. Oh, but please report what/when you buy from the bin:

-Did it ring up $5.96?
-Did it come with a VUDU code, or InstaWatch?

OK, how about this...

If any title that was previously reported as $7.88 turns out to only ring up at $5.96, I'll re-add it to the OP's current month, but under the $5.96 subtitle.

This is an example that used to be $7.88 (unless ileadfarmer didn't scan it):

OP says that was found in April 2015. I suspect it was removed from the bin some time after that and recently re-added as an Oct 16 title. But that's just a guess.

The one example of an earlier bin title ringing up $5.96 is Maggie. (Or was it a different price that was lower than $7.88? I can't remember now.)

No, that was $7.88 when I got my copy from the bin. Thanks!

Yeah, I saw that. I guess I didn't know if that applied to the bin also...They could've put out different copies with new UPC stickers.

Walmart is so weird with their layout/pricing lately.

I grabbed mine from the bin. Granted, that doesn't mean much, because it could've just been dumped in there. But I don't think so, because the slip looked like it had "bin" around.

I was there today and saw a bunch more new ones..

I picked up the following that rang up $5.96 each.
The Holiday
The Best man Holiday
The Family Man

They also had some documentary thing also. Plus a few other titles.

I forget. I think it was Life sometime. It has a animal on the cover. I think it was a natural one.
