Hi all

I'm currently interested in buying Curruption as I believe it has The Last House on Dead End Street as an Easter egg.
My question is this, at €20 (I live in Ireland) is it worthy of a blind buy? I am somewhat interested in Dead End Street, as I like exploitation cinema, and it seems the only way to currently own it, or indeed see it is on VS's blu ray of Curruption.

I also read a few pages back that there was a stand alone release of Dead End due from VS but for various reasons this has been canceled. Am I right ?

VS just threw that raw scan on as an extra for fun.

Regarding Corruption itself, it's a curiosity that has some odd scenes hinting at more depth but it's pacing is slow and the erotic scenes are filmed in a way to be less sensual so ultimately I found it to be disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it as a blind buy unless you're looking for the strangest hardcore movie around.

The Last House footage is very raw.

Super stoked for Slaughterhouse!

And the Psychos in Love announcement has me wondering if we'll also see Bechard's earlier slasher, Disconnected, get a release as well?

From what I understand, the director owns the rights to it himself.

I loved Slaughterhouse, which was a blind buy; I didn't think 88's Blu-ray was terrible but if there's a better-looking edition coming up with more extras then I'm definitely double dipping. I guess none of 88's releases are truly definitive since their masters/scans are routinely improved upon. I thought Severin's version of Burial Ground looked better than 88's, for instance.

Talked to Carmine Capobianco at a convention 2 weeks ago (name dropping!) and he told me of the Psychos in Love announcement. I believe I remember him saying that Gorman Bechard doesn't "like" Disconnected enough to want it released. Though there was a possibility of Galactic Gigolo. Again, just goin' on memory and being overly stoked about Psychos (everything else was fuzzy).
