The Warner releases of Once Upon a Time in America are OOP because the rights moved to Fox. The Fox disc should still be in print. They did not reprint the set with a book though, so that version should be OOP for real.

I have both Warner discs for both cuts. I just realized that both cuts are on the Fox disc. Talk about a doh moment. Is there any advantage in extras on the Warner discs?

The Warner set I have with the book has two BDs. One has the extended cut with documentary, the other has the theatrical cut with documentary and commentary. If the Fox disc puts them both on one disc then it might be different in other ways, but I don't have it to check.

I bought both single disc releases for less than $10 each and put them in a 2 disc case.. I wanted that collector's edition, but didn't want to pay what they wanted for it.

The Fox version having both cuts is news to me. I have the Warner 2011 and 2014 Deluxe with both cuts on separate discs. But I never had a reason to buy Fox's, but I doubt they would go thru the effort of branching both version's. Because there is No way they crammed both versions on disc without branching. You would have a similiar debacle like what happened to God's and Generals, and Gettysburg Blu-rays...

If you look at the back cover art of the Fox version of Once Upon A Time In America on this site, it shows it being a 2 disc set, with both cuts.

I should have grabbed Judgement at Nuremberg and A Man For All Seasons when I had the chance. I guess I can purchase these titles at Amazon Marketplace, but they're priced quite high.

Should American Buffalo be removed from the OOP list? It seems to still be readily available from SAE. I know they previously indicated that they had lost the rights to sell it, but it appears that wasn't the case.

True enough. I imagine that TT worked out a deal with the new rights holder to continue to sell their leftover copies.

Of course, technically it -- like all of Twilight Times releases -- is OOP, since no more copies will be pressed. It's just not sold out yet.
