Default just to make sure
I can download firmware update 1.82 via my computer, burn it onto a cd, put the CD into the PS3, and it will update the console.

Then with this update, blu-ray movie playback will run at 720p on my 720p lcd hdtv. I can do this by going into the display settings. And I do not need to change the settings on my TV, just the settings on the PS3.

Is this correct?
