The fact that my 6 year old nephew came into my room and woke me up about 5 minutes into my attempt to go to sleep last night. I screamed at him until he left(hey, I was trying to go to bed) but it still took me longer than I would've liked to nod off. The fact that my alarm failed again didn't help, definitely need to look into a new bluetooth speaker that I can use as an alarm.

Came across that in the comment section of Chris Stuckmann's "Worst Movies of 2016" YouTube video, and that is exactly the kind of example of someone who seeks consensus and lets the Tomatometer think for him. I can picture him watching a movie, enjoying it, finding out it's 35% on Rotten Tomatoes and immediately changing his mind.

So when you're me, and you have no friends and no life, you spend a lot of time on the computer. Just being real, not being self deprecating for the sake of being self deprecating, but anyway, I've been wanting to make some lyric videos to put on YouTube. The thing I'm having trouble with though is, even if I can actually understand all of the lyrics, I'm not sure how they should be put down. Using U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For as an example, would it be
I have climbed highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you, only to be with you

or would it be
I have climbed highest mountains

lol I know I have too much free time but hey. Oh and why don't I just google the lyrics when I'm making the videos you ask. I make the videos at home where I don't have internet. Yes, believe it or not, I don't have internet at home

thinking about how stupid i was when i was younger and how i wish i hadn't gotten arrested then.

every time i fill out an application, i hate putting in that particular information. i know it's the reason i've gotten hardly any call-backs from all the places to which i've applied.

i just wish i could go back and stop myself from making that one stupid mistake.....

Does your state not have the 7-10 year laws that you don't have to disclose it after so long? If not, that's terrible and unfair. It seems they want people to be punished their whole lives. At least take comfort in the fact you realized what you did, become a better person for it and despite the constant rejections you continue to fight every day.

Have you looked into self employment or more manual labor (construction) where backgrounds are less of an issue?

not technically. it's based solely on the company. more and more have started to either only inquire about felonies (which mine was not), or add "...within the past 7 years" mine was in the 90s). but there are still a few places that will ask as they always have.

of those that ask, they all say you don't have to disclose if it's been dismissed or expunged. well, my state only expunges charges that were dismissed, or where the person was acquitted after a trial.

and yes, i've thought about construction/manual labor. it's not my ideal job, obviously (i've done it before), but i guess you gotta do what gotta do. the really bad part about the construction business here is the brutally humid summers.

Have you considered warehouse work? At least you would be out of the heat and rain.
