I agree with a lot of people who said Fearless. That is one of the best non-wire fu Kung Fu movies I have seen. Really anything with Jet Li is going to be good, but I will be picking up Fearless on Blu for certain.

I wonder if the U.S. Release will be 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio?? Either way.. 5.1 will be good as well. its a buy for anyone that hasn't imported it yet!!!!

IMO, it's between Kill Bill 1&2 and Kung Fu Panda. It's a matter of if you want CGI Kung-Fu or the real thing.

There's also Forbidden Kingdom, it look's amazing in BD and you got J&J in it, jackie Chan & Jet Li

I agree, 'Forbidden Kingdom' was awesome in blu and I personally loved the film. It combines both the East & West's love for martial arts (a mix of karate kid w/ old style chinese kung-fu and legend). Please note it's more of a family film, so set your expectations accordingly, but the fight seen alone between Jacki Chan & Jet Li was probably one of the best I had ever seen!

I gota say.. Kung Fu Panda is awesome! but if you're interested in traditinoal Chinese "Kung Fu" movies then I would pick:

Fearless - Jet Li;

but if you are interested in martial arts movies
then I would pick:

The Warlords(aka Blood brothers) awesome movie
Red Cliff - Highly Recommended
SPL - Good Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung Movie
Kung Fu Hustle - One of the best Blu-rays out there
House Of Fury - Fun, entertaining movie

I'm waiting for "Hero" to come out on blu-ray, as well as all the Once upon a time in China series.

Ashes of Time Redux
is going to be an awesome blu-ray, it's intentionally filmic and grainy (authentic) so don't expect it to look like kung fu panda. But it's the real deal.

Fearless most definitely has wires. I'd like to see any human do some of those jumps in the restaurant, or balance on the top of a towers roof edge defying gravity. It may not be Hero or Crouching Tiger obvious, but its there.

Chinese Odyssey. Holy S, those movies were good.

Not to be confused with Chinese Democracy, which is also good though.

Part 1: Pandora's Box and Part 2: Cinderella are two of the best kung-fu films I've ever seen.
