Default The Best Chocolate?

Its getting closer to Christmas and lots of choclate gets given around, so i thought id ask, whats the best chocolate to get? I'm talking like Lindt, Godiva, Hersheys, Nestles... Something easy. I know if i were to go to Europe i could find amazing chocolate. Right now im leaning towards Godiva, great chocolate but so expensive...Any suggestions?

Even though Hersheys is my favorite, that and Nestles don't exactly look amazing if you get it for Christmas. Splurge on the pricier stuff, since it looks better as a gift. I'd vote for Ghirardelli (I think they're owned by Lindt now).

You should try Belgian chocolates, they are known to be the best in the world.
You got so many here. Just walking downtown Brussels and you'll see what I mean.

Just to name a few Belgian Chocolate brands:

Leonidas, Jacques, Cote d'Or, Neuhaus, Godivas and so on ...

What kind of chocolate are you looking for? Just bars or boxed with different flavors and such?

I still have a warm spot for Cadbury bars. Milk Chocolate.

Id have to go with milk chocolate. I like the Snickers, Mars, and Musketeers bars. I also love reeses cups and Toblerone.

For me, the best chocolate is Swiss.

It's in NYC we go whenever we're in the city (and we live in Ohio!)

I'm not big on chocolate myself. (except Chocolate Hagen Daaz)

My favorite chocolate is UK Cadbury...note, this is note the Cadbury that you can buy in the US made by Hershey, it has to come from the UK (Cadbury Dairy Milk). The smoothest chocolate I have ever had.

But Lindt truffles are pretty good too.
