I know Journey to the Center of the Earth only got like $22 long after it went OOP. That's an older movie though. I'm sure it depends on the title, it's just odd this sold for more than you can get it on TT's site. Oh well!

Need to sell Vampires and First Men in the Moon as well, again because of UK editions.

I've flipped Criterions on eBay for well over $40 USD while they were still available on SAE. Enemy Mine was one. Alfredo Garcia has way more cult appeal than Journey I think too.

Anyone have any comparisons between the Twilight Time and Arrow releases? Which one you like more/believe is superior?

Arrow's edition is taken from a Brand New 4K remaster, and it looks beautiful. Currently, it's available as a Limited Edition, containing a bonus disc with over 10 hours of unused footage from the Man Of Iron documentary, which is included with this edition.

I own five different BDs of this film, including both Twilight Time editions. The Arrow is the best by a long way.

Yep. To quote MichaelB from when the disc was being authored...

...anyone mad enough to click on "play all" and watch the entire thing will currently get ten hours 43 minutes and 52 seconds of video.
The Limited Edition featuring this bonus disc is still in stock, so I would recommend getting it quickly. It truly is a great edition.

I should say here that the documentary itself had a drawn out repetitive quality to it (I supposed required to some extent as the man was a prickly layered character), so 10 more hours of it may not necessarily be joy and sunshine, but the Arrow release, limited or not, is a terrific thing to have.

Wow, I didn't realize that the Arrow release was so much better in terms of PQ. I guess I wasn't paying attention before. I'll have to pick it up at some point I think.

I wonder if Arrow will re-release this in North America too - Twilight Time's licence must be expired by now.

Wouldn't be surprised if Kino snapped it up, but if they haven't, Arrow might just release it here. I think there was a rumor at one time that Criterion had gotten it.

So how does one go about finding this Arrow version? A search of Amazon UK pops up an Arrow edition, but it's flagged as "Polish Version" with no English audio or subs. But that doesn't seem right. See Here

I don't know what you're looking at but that link leads me to the British version with the BBFC logo on the front and English audio and subtitles listed in the specs.

At the bottom of the details it says:

"Product description
NOTICE: Polish Release, cover may contain Polish text/markings. The disk DOES NOT have English audio and subtitles."
