The Gang's All Here is a Technicolor film but the TT one does not look like one at all... The MoC has registration issues from time to time, but resembles the Technicolor look for sure. I'm happy to own both, but if I have to choose one, it will be the MoC.

I have the French release, it's the same transfer as the TT & muli-region, better still buy the Italian release, it's really cheap, but don't buy the German release as it's the old transfer.

Just picked up Mississippi Mermaid, The Story of Adele H., and Equus from SAE at $9.95 each. With the extra discount for selecting Media Mail shipping, a great deal.

Already had The Bride Wore Black, which by the way is now no longer available from SAE.

A little bit of unease about Equus, which is a blind buy (no pun intended). I understand the
[Show spoiler]horse blinding scenes are shown graphically - albeit in a stylised way - whereas in the stage play they are implied
. I abhor animal abuse and typically avoid any film in which it is depicted, but I've wanted to see this one for years given its reputation for very strong performances. So, we shall see. Plus, there's the beautiful Jenny Agutter...

I'm considering picking up Equus for the Richard Burton documentary. Can anyone confirm if it's any good?

Thanks, I just ordered it. I've been on the fence about Equus for a while. I thought it might be a bit "arty" for me, but the Richard Burton documentary sold me. Even if I hate the movie, I should enjoy that. Burton was one of the great screen actors of his time (when he wasn't taking a role just for the money), but I don't know much about him other than the Liz and Dick tabloid stuff.

They updated the release date for that one to Tomorrow, so my larger order still waits.

Trying to pull the trigger on a cart for the signed Runaway Train, but that's alot of money.

All good titles I want anyway, no filler just for the auto. But $150 carts are usually reserved for Black Friday sales.

There were a couple of slight manufacturing delays at Technicolor. As a result, Interiors started shipping yesterday from the portal, while Kiss of Death will start shipping Friday afternoon. Apologies for any delays.

I know this sounds unusual, but does James Bridges's estate/John Edward have a relationship or know about Twilight Time or would want them to release his films on Blu Ray?
Like Oliver Stone wanted Twilight Time, NOT Warner Home Video, nor Warner Archive, nor Criterion, etc. to put out on Region A Blu Ray "Heaven And Earth" (Which Warners still owns the rights to in the US.)
Despite the fact that Warners now will give up home video rights in the US and UK to pretty much (Aside from the hit/big seller titles like say "2001" or "Shining", Russell's "The Devils", but "Badlands", "Being There", etc.) to Criterion. Yet I honestly can't see this film, even sandwiched with another film like how Kes was released with Cathy Come Home, & Criterion taking on "Valley Of The Dolls" despite it's low IMDB rating; cut this short...

TL;DR Does any think that James Bridges/Warners giving up the Home Video rights in the US to "Mike's Murder" that 1984 Debra Winger Drama/Mystery/Thriller thru TT on Blu would be a good choice, especially seeing a much better received film has been put on Blu Ray thru Twilight Time from WB.
I get that this sounds strange and infuriating, but I would love for Twilight Time with help from Warners to put out, in new Restorations HD Scans, the original theatrical cut AND The Director's Cut!
I find it hard to believe Warner would give this to Criterion, Shout could be possibly if Warners are to budge, yet doubtful aside from DVD only if the licensing deal is correct as of February 2017. Warner Archive is a strong contender yet I don't think they have put two versions of one film on one or two Blu Rays discs as part of a package, even "Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid" with it's multiple iterations has been rumored to only be released as one version on Blu Ray if WHV or WA were to release now, if that one rumor is true. Sorry if I started anything at all, would love these movies to be done justice by someone, ANYONE?

I chickened out. I just didn't have the intestinal fortitude to pull the trigger. Since I already had Arrow's Runaway Train, I couldn't do it. I just keep waiting for a bonus I don't already have.

James Bridges passed away in 1993. Doubt he has knowledge of Twilight Time.
