Funko Pop? Yeah, I'd use that shelf for more movies stacked the other way.

This is likely what I would do as well, but I do really like the way it breaks up the wall of films. I'm in desperate need of new shelving and it's my goal to have enough space to do something similar, possibly with movie memorabilia. I have a Hellraiser Puzzle box, a Freddy Glove, and other oddities that I'd consider putting in there. Adding in a lightsaber replica would be fun as well.

I thought about that, but mine wouldn't fit. I have the nearly 7' long Darth Maul double bladed lightsaber that is long OOP. I paid about $200 for it in 2 pieces in 2005.

Yeah if/when I get one I plan to go the DIY route. I'd like the blade to seperate so it can be displayed on a shelf, but also would like to be able to enjoy it powered up with sound. I'll likely order from here eventually.

Thanks this is why I put the funko pops there. The shelves are too narrow to stack them the other way and I dont think I would like the way that would look but the pops are just the right size so I picked a few that matched with the different movies or genres that I'm into I'm not really into collecting them like some of the people on the board are (there's a whole subforum for them).

I don't want any of the POP figures for myself but I do enjoy seeing them in people's collections. Whenever I'm at a store and they sell them, I'll admit do look at them. They are cool looking, just nothing I'd want for myself.

In fact, I like seeing everyone's different tastes in decorating in this thread.

I have some even though I wouldn't consider myself a Funko collector I enjoy them because they cover many franchises that I love, have a consistent look and are really cheap. Some look better then others but overall for $10 you can't beat the price. I wanted to break up my walls of DVDs, Blu rays and games with some form of memorabilia or solid physical items of my favorite franchises but in most cases they are WAY too expensive or too elaborate to put on a shelf. These are small and can be displayed with my media without taking away from them. Here is an example of part of my movie set up.

I used to say the same thing. A local bookstore has been selling them for several years and I didn't buy one until a couple of months ago. Now I at least take a peek at them during each visit. It seems like they're always getting new stuff in each week. But ten bucks per figure adds up quickly, though, and I'm trying to show a lot of restraint towards only collecting stuff I really want right now like the iconic horror characters (Freddy/Jason/Chucky/Ash, etc).

Yea, I believe it is a vinyl storybook. My wife got it for me as a gift. It's a special edition so the art is actually on the vinyl. I love it.

Very cool! I loved those Vinyl stories. Great artwork and a cool story not found on the animated series. Love it!

I finally got around to taking some pictures of my collection. Didn't get my Disney/animated movies.
