Where can i buy a "slow blow fuse" ? - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, so my parents have my old definitive tech pro cinema 60 system, any way the sub woofer blew its fuse for some reason (its plugged into a good surge protector). Well as it turns out it uses a "slow blow fuse" according to the tech at definitive tech. I need a 1.25 amp, 250 volt, slow blow fuse, but can't find one. I have tried home depot, radio shack, lowes, best buy, Circuit city, and an electronics specialty store (electronics warehouse). And no one has a slow blow fuse

any ideas where i can get one? FYI a slow blow fuse's wire inside is really thick vs. a standard fuse, which blows the second i plug in the sub. They are sending me a new one free of charge, but i would love to have a few spare in case it happens again.

i hate having to wait for one in the mail.

O yeah i didn't see one on amazon, and the guy from definitive tech couldn't tell me where to buy one either.

If you are popping normal ( fast blow ) fuses... the slow blow is not going to help.. you have a problem in the unit...

Yeah i kinda thought that too

, and yes it did blow the new slow blow fuse too. O well, luckily it has a 3 or 5 year warranty from definitive tech.
