Still gonna hang onto my digibook, really like that release. Even the disc is OK for how old it is, minus the lossy audio.

They did the same for goodfellas. I think more people would complain if they did a bad atmos mix than a 5.1 track

We're not talking about Unforgiven... we were talking about Fox's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which did have a theatrical Atmos mix, on another thread.

I'm aware that Warner doesn't do Atmos remixes. More than likely they're too cheap to make the effort.

Or perhaps they know better than to create an unfaithful and completely unnecessary mix? And maybe they'd rather spend that money toward more useful things in the restoration process?

A little shame that WB didn't wait a little longer so this release could have been Dolby Vision as well.

Ehh, I am sure that it will be awesome, and it might get a DV version in a few years if the format continues to take off.
