Getting ready to go to bed. Tomorrow will be a day I do nothing. Seeing as there will be a crap ton of snow.

At least it's my day off. So I don't have to work in it.

Enjoyed a fantastic Pint Noir last night. I opened the bottle (MacMurray Ranch Pinot Noir from Costco ~ $15) late last week and had poured a glass only to decide a few minutes later that I didn't want it. I poured the glass back in the bottle and used my rubber corking system to re-seal it. I ended up having some last night and WOW, it was fantastic. When I've had it previously it was pretty good, but after being opened and oxygenated for a few days, it really opened up. Putting my nose in the glass it smelled like a sweet berry jam and dare I say had hints of cherry Twizzlers.

It tasted not far from those flavors as well. I read up some on the benefits of decanting wines and it has been said that young Pinot Noirs often benefit from this process as it allows them to open up and breathe, bringing out their true flavors. Time to bust out my decanter after being on the shelf for a while.

Well I live so close to the border. As it currently stands, I drive in the Youngstown and Cleveland markets. I can take people into Pennsylvania, from Ohio, but I cannot accept new riders in Pennsylvania. I have to drive back to Ohio to get riders. So hopefully they can do something on my account to make me good for both states.

So you are already a driver for Uber? I know a guy that works in their customer service I guess...something like that. Anyway, I didn't realize that Ohio and Pennsylvania bordered each other. I thought maybe you spend a fair amount of time in both places during the year. Did you ever hear that story about the Uber driver that committed killings in between pickups?
