But I can't stay quiet when I see Eastwood mentioned in such a list, sorry... he was the definition of 'cool' back in the days.

I agree on Wayne 'though... even if he had charisma.

I thought the same as you about Sly until several years ago when I finally decided to watch the first Rocky and then discovered Paradise Alley a few months after that... I realized then that not only he had skills for writing excellent movie scripts but the guy was also a tremendous actor, one of the best I've seen from this era in the genre.

The ones that everybody praise and that I can't understand why are: Brando - I find him to be sooooo bad it hurts -, Depp, and Pacino (he ages terribly and always seems to exagerate everything he does as if he wanted to compensate his short height).
Well, I'm just saying that most people like these guys because of who they are. They're all badasses, but just not great actors. There really isn't anything wrong with that. I own several movies by each of them.

Sly started off with good intentions, but it seemed like he gave up in 1985 whenhe did Rambo II and Rocky IV. I think it was about the money at that point.

I'm lost. Bruce Willis has showed numerous times that he is a great actor (recent output not withstanding).

The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Looper and Twelve Monkeys being just a few examples.

It's what I understood, don't worry.

Now, what would be great is to know the name of your preferred actors.

Huh. I guess the Lionsgate reprint of Godzilla Vs. Biollante is now out of print, as its starting to climb in price through third party sellers on Amazon and eBay.

It's not available on Best Buy, target, Walmart, etc.

It is available at a couple of DFW area Movie Trading Company stores brand new for 11.99.

This may have been mentioned, but it looks like Terri (US release) from Fox is OOP.

Why do movies go out of print so fast?

Rights, money, lack of demand, or all of the above.

Just a note that Jon did exactly that and I have a mint copy of Jade in my hands. Now I can enjoy Friedkin's collapse in sort-of HD! It's a pretty cool thing.

I don't really see what is wrong with the bad guys or the action.
No worries. Most of my friends love Bruce also, but I can't watch him without wanting to punch him. But I really like Eastwood, and sometimes Arnie and Sly without thinking that much of them as actors, more like characters probably similar to the way you like Bruce. Just a personal preference thing on who you like.

Mill Creek's releases of Gone Fishin' and Holy Man appear to be OOP. No major retailers are carrying these, only third party and eBay sellers have these releases for sale. Mill Creek doesn't even have them listed on their website.

I got Holy Man at the dollar store for $2-3 not long ago. Wasn't a great movie but surprisingly not bad. Either way, don't think too many people will be disappointed if it is OOP.

Amazon has all of these readily in stock. Are you sure on this?

Shame movies shouldn't have to go out of print and than be difficult to buy.

Eddie Murphy would never make a bad movie.

I used to have that release of Gone Fishin but got rid of it a few years ago because the movie isn't very good.

True. I never understood why Norbit wasn't nominated for any awards. Drama, Comedy, Acting, Script. It was so well rounded.
