Another Man's Poison will be $20.23 from DD during their next 15% off sale (it's $23.81 right now, as is Miss Annie Rooney), so presumably these new titles will have the same sale/discounted price.

Plus an additional 80 cents back from topcashback, bringing the final total to $19.43, you consarned parsimonious so-and-so!

I guess it has to be Reign of Terror (aka The Black Book) by process of elimination. (I found it to be a minor Mann, but beautifully shot of course.)
Does MGM truly have rights to He Walked By Night, or were they just releasing something that's still in the public domain?

Dunno, but they re-released it on DVD-R as recently as 2014. I asked Mister Lime about a Kino possibility in October 2015 and didn't get a (direct) response.

I asked MisterLime more recently and he said 'not at this time' I think. Surely it's that one though that Cf will release and not the WB or Sony owned ones.

I think (but I'm not 100% certain) that it was a Kansas City Confidential situation. It's in the public domain, but MGM had quality elements, so they released it.

Right, that's what I'm thinking too.

Black Book/Reign of Terror (which Sony has released on DVD-R) has also had a couple of public-domain releases itself, for what that's worth.

It's so beautiful. I hope this label is immensely successful!

I see a solid 5 upcoming titles I'd totally jump on.

I am happy about these titles and I hope the image quality will be satisfactory. It's a new venture and I wish them luck. If they look great, we are going to be in for some real classic treats !

I just hope that being a new label that Classicflix knows that the post 1953 MGM titles that were full frame on dvd and listed as full frame are supposed to be widescreen. Killer is Loose had a cruddy full frame MGM MOD DVD. I truly hope that that, Nightmare, Five Steps to Danger, and Crime of Passion are in OAR widescreen.

Getting any widescreen era film presented properly in bluray is always a big win. Hopefully they do these right! I've already let Bob Furmanek know so that he can contact them and make sure that they are done properly.

Brilliant titles -- This could get expensive quick.

I think I'm almost as excited by the release of another Ziv TV series.

Their initial press release states 'There are no bonus features', but does that just apply to Another Man's Poison and Miss Annie Rooney? I'd love to see some Ursini/Silver/Muller commentaries on the noir titles.

Another Man's Poison is down to $23.00 on Amazon right now.

I'm planning to pull the trigger on March 15 (payday), so here's hoping that the prices stay steady or continue to dip.

I like the noir titles they're releasing so far. Hopefully, they take a shot at a few pre-code films too.

Blu-ray.com site review for Another Man's Poison

It's a big relief to read this review.
- officially-pressed Blu-ray disc
- subtitles
- impressive picture quality and good audio quality

I'm glad that I took a leap of faith yesterday by pre-ordering this title.
