This probably has more to do with her Netflix special tanking than anything else. She was the flavor of the week and now it's time for the next comedian. Very, very few comedians have a shelf life past 5 minutes.

The world of her standup routine.

She's certainly not actually morbidly obese, or even obese, but she's definitely overweight. Her talking about it nonstop is honestly more disgusting than the fat itself, tbh (similar to JLaw; no, she's also not "obese," merely somewhat overweight, but her talking about being so is almost as gross as it she was).

Margot Robbie would actually be a great choice for Barbie. Make her Barbie "too smart" for Barbieland or something and we got a movie.

Yes, almost like Thomas Anderson waking up to the fact that he's trapped in the Matrix. Her realising there's "clones" of herself could be the incident that opens her eyes. That could be fun.

I was with you until you said that JLaw is overweight, because that's just ridiculous.

She is 5'7" and 164lbs which puts her BMI at 25.7 which is overweight but not obese despite what her appearance is.

Default sooooooo... she's not doing the movie....

annnnnd there's even the slightest, most remote chance that the movie itself might never get made, so much as find itself lost in some sort of development limbo or Hell???

I'm just saying...

Both great ideas, which means Hollywood will miss that and do some stupid plot came up by a drunk 5 year old. With Amy is was going to be some turd about fat acceptance, but a smart Barbie too clever for her world is a better idea

lol you need more info than height and weight to work out BMI.

"For years, scientists have said that BMI can't distinguish between fat and muscle, which tends to be heavier and can tip more toned individuals into overweight status, even if their fat levels are low."

If Jennifer Lawrence is overweight, then there's no hope for the rest of us.

Whoa... that's even worse than I thought. That's not just big compared to the twigs in Hollywood (already a false stereotype tbh, but let's roll with it), that's just a generally above average size.

Speak for yourself.

I'm about 6' 1" or 6' 2" (wish I could have hit 6' 5" but it could have been a lot worse lol) and generally around 150. And I'm by no means gaunt.

She used to have a little more meat on her bones but she lost that over the years. I love her either way, too.

Yeah. When I look at Christian Bale I think "wow, at 180-200lbs, you're sure fat looking Batman, why do you want muscle and not just want to be a bean pole?..."

Unless a person is in the outlier categories, i.e. a body composition similar to Dwayne Johnson (and at the other end of the scale in terms of being severely underweight), BMI is accurate for the majority.

It's a LOT more complicated for women.

Exactly.

Just like BMI doesn't account for muscle mass, it also does not account for breast tissue. D-Cup breasts weigh on average 15-23 lbs. That's why a lot of women have breast pain with jogging, sleeping on their stomach, etc. It's a pain in the ass, tbh.

http://jezebel.com/306096/somethings...ody-mass-index

BMI also does not take into account frame size either.

Damn, 150! I'm 6'3" 192lbs and have a bit of a tummy but everything else is on point. I can't imagine what 150 feels like, that's just an inch shorter than me. Even in the ARMY, the best shape of my life, I still weighed 178lbs.
