This looks clearly misframed, interesting to see if anything will happen (I doubt it).

I wouldn't wait too long - assuming you're referring to the UK set (which is both slightly cheaper and gives you an additional two films), it is officially sold-out from Arrow, so I'm assuming Amazon's stock is limited at this point as well, and their £34.99 price is as low as it has been.

Yeah, but the third and fourth films are terrible. House is great and House II is tolerable.

Horror Show/House 3 at least has two dependable (if occasionally scenery-chewing) actors in Lance Henriksen and Brion James. I haven't seen Part IV, but I'm keeping my expectations in check.

Except nobody should pay $100 for this set.
In the UK, it was roughly £50 ($65) and the US set currently is $79 which isn't the lowest it has been.

It doesn't change the technical problems with Hellraiser 3 but if you look for this kind of arguments to weigh in the discussion, people should definitely use the correct figures.

Also, by my filmaf count, there has been 15 separate Lakeshore titles that have been released in the US by Arrow (including both House films and the 3 Hellraiser films).

Of those, not every single one has been misframed. Hellraiser 3 and House definitely, possibly Creepshow 2 and possibly The Stuff. So this whole business of Lakeshore being responsible for stuffing up the framing does not seem to add up.

Even it was $US79, what difference would that make?

I knew the framing issue was gonna happen... but seriously is this really that big of a deal?

I didn't have a problem watching Creepshow 2 or even Hellraiser III

Looking at both pictures that have been posted I doubt I'm even gonna catch those mistakes in real time! I don't even know what I'm looking for in the 2nd picture posted!

Still waiting on my box set from the UK and even with all
the negative comments about framing, I'm still super excited about watching it soon!!

Also what's with all the hate for part 3? I love me some Brion James!!!

Is this only a limited quantity release? If so, maybe I should purchase a backup copy in case something happens to the copy I already purchased.

Judging by all the breathless posts it's being made to sound like the entire movie is marred by perforations/audio cues to the left and visible filming equipment to a point where the film is unwatchable. I don't have the set yet but somehow I don't think it'll be that bad.

I placed my order on Jan 25th. and was locked in at £29.16 (£32.24). Came out to $41.59 shipped.

Wasn't Creepshow 2 like this also?

I enjoyed watching it and has no issues as far as noticing framing.

And I doubt it would have sold as many copies if everyone felt differently than I did.

Right, £29.16 is £34.99 with VAT removed.

I should have specified that only the packaging (with the book) is limited, there will assumedly be solo releases at some point in the future.

There seems to be much more visible consequences to House being misframed than for Creepshow 2.

I've only seen the two or three screencaps thus far that people are losing their minds over.

What's the visible evidence aside from a few screencaps for House being a lot worse than Creepshow 2?

Not defending Arrow here -- as mistakes like this definitely aren't cool -- but unwatchable whole-film egregious is much different than a few screen caps and fifteen total seconds egregious.

Aside from the framing issue this looks like a really good release. Looks better than my old Monsters HD version. Looking at some of these shots its strange because some shots look correctly centered and some look clearly way off. I guess I won't be able to say how bad this is until I get it.

This the 2nd Cunningham film that has framing issues throughout the releases. 1st Friday the 13th, now this.
