Where have you seen caps comparing the different versions of The Impossible? Also, I think you mean 96 kHz. I am not an audiophile, but I wouldn't import it just for that reason.

Yeah, 96... Haven't seen screen caps, just speculating. US version has no bit rate mentioned, actually, but British one has lower bit rate (25,95) than French (27,39). So, I was hoping someone can confirm/disconfirm, how they compare to the US blu picture-wise.

I still haven't found anyone who has seen the extended JP version of Black Hawk Down. Anyone out there seen it and have an opinion as to whether it's a big plus or minus?

Anyone been able to compare the MoC "Cover Girl" to TT's? DVD Beaver gives the video rave reviews, but they've often been much less critical than reviewers here. They also don't have the TT version to compare it with.

There are comparison caps at caps-a-holic, the MoC is from the recent 4K restoration.

Both of those releases of Young Guns look terrible. The US disc is riddled with aliasing and sharpening while the DE disc is far too bright.

I got the US disc for like $3 used and I overpaid.

So what do you think about German blu of American Pie. To me it seems more natural colours, less artificially sharpened than American one.
