Sorry, but no. That is the same 3d we saw in cinemas. They just ported it across to blu-ray. That made no impact between the difference in the 3d at all. The 3d in cinemas for TFA was well done and that shows on the disc, the 3d in rogue one was underwhelming until the finale and that also shows on the disc, just as it was in cinemas. Both transfers to blu-ray where done at a reference level from a video perspective. The issue is the differing quality of the 3d conversion which was released into cinemas for both.

The taken longer to get to blu-ray was just a ploy to maximise profits and made no difference to the presentation at all.
