These days I'm really into great surround music. Quadraphonicquad has become my main hangout lately.

One of my favorite choices for real surround mixes is Steely Dan - Gaucho

That's a really great site with lots of friendly, helpful people. I've always loved music, but just really got into surround music in the last couple of years. Just like any recording, some are not so great, some are okay, and some are stellar.

The best surround mixes to me are the ones that stay true to the original album as far as balance of instruments and overall sound quality, but intelligently spread the original tracks around the room. The worst kind is where they add any compression or reverb or other crap.

My favorite surround mixers are Elliot Scheiner and Steven Wilson. If they did the mix, it's probably going to sound great.

I listen to music more than watching movie's . I have allway's been involved in music in a very big way . Since my recent divorce , I have no room to install my two-channel stereo set up where I'm living now, so now I'm running music off my Home Theater set up which sound's great, so I feel that maybe it's time for me to start checking out some of these surround music recording's myself. Thank's once again .
