Twilight Time has stated that there will be no more encore editions so it may be rereleased but not by them

There is chatter on FB about TT passing back Panic Room to Sony.

Twilight Time Movies We did, but it maybe a title we trade back to Sony as really and truly they should do it themselves.

Twilight Time Movies - we appreciate your comments, but this is a decision that will be taken out of our hands---Mr Fincher is involved, and he will likely request that Sony do as much as possible for the title -- we can only cross our fingers and hope for the best!

Oh no. Hopefully this isn't part of their "Choice Collection".

Sounds like it's a good chance it will be a pressed release if Fincher is involved.

Looks like Fincher is involved and he will not want it released as a BD-R. He has a strong relationship with Criterion. If Sony does not want to release a pressed disc, perhaps it will be through Criterion.

That would be awesome if it was through Criterion!

Knowing our luck, if Sony did finally release it it will be under the Choice Collection.

I highly doubt it will be released as a BD-R. However, if TT does trade Panic Room back to Sony what could/would they get in return?

Just received an email from SAE advertising a preorder promotion -- if you preorder Brutal Tales of Chivalry, Inferno, Who'll Stop the Rain, The Man in the Moon and The Stone Killer, you get a $5 discount on every title, for a $25 total savings. They must all be preordered at the same time to qualify.

Interesting!

They've been doing this for the last 2 or 3 months now.

yeah, it's a downgrade from what they offered in Feb.

I'm still pre-ordering WSTR anyway, as it's one film I've been pining for since the format was implemented. But I would have also picked up two others had the $5 discount been selective rather than collective.

It was offered in April, too. It required you to buy all, though there were only 4 titles in April.

If Fincher allows Panic Room to be put on a BD-R I will lose some respect for him honestly.

Quick question. When it comes to Twilight Time preorders, who gets the title to the customer faster, Twilight Time or Screen Archives? Any opinions/experiences would be appreciated!

I pre-ordered...

Inferno 3D
Who'll Stop the Rain

I'm double-dipping on Inferno, since I already own the region free disc, but I'm wild about this movie.

With all due apologies to Twilight Time, I decided to order the el cheap edition of The Stone Killer from the region free Indicator label, since I'm impressed with their output so far.

When it was first announced, I ordered two copies of HARDCORE-one from TT and the other from SAE.

They arrived at my west coast mail box on the same day.
