Have personally verified the "American Mummy" Blu-ray 3D+2D disc is REGION A LOCKED. The disc will not play in region B or region C players.

Mine came with a slip cover but no mention of Limited Edition. I have not heard that this was a limited edition.

I saw these at my local Walmart today and they all had slipcovers. I think they were $15 or $16.

When I bought my copy at WM last week they had 10 copies of the movie. On Thursday they had 2 copies left. Wonder if it sold for the 3D or the 2D?

I picked this up also. I enjoyed it and the 3D I thought was really good. A few nice pop outs you rarely see these days. Mine didn't come with a slip, but its says 3D and 2D versions included. It only fires up in 3D for me. Can anyone confirm that the 2D version is included ?.

Same here. It will play in 2D by turning the 3D mode off. I watched it both ways. 3D is the way to go but it was also good in 2D. I would think if put in a bluray player that is not 3D it will choose the 2D version of the movie.

All of the copies at MV Distribution (who sends AM to stores such as Amazon, fye, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Amoeba, Fry's, BullMoose) do not have slips. I believe the slips are exclusive to Walmart...

I'm going to pick this up at Walmart tomorrow now, I feel the urge to give it a chance after your recommendations and hopefully I'll enjoy it, thanks for posting your thoughts on the movie and the 3D.

Thats what I was thinking just turning the 3D mode off on the remote. Usually the option is on the disc. Yes, 3D is the the way to watch it. They did a nice job so its worth it.

There are some on this forum that rate the film as one of the worst movies ever made, but nobody can say anything bad about the 3D. For what it's worth, these were my observations when I first/last watched it:
