Disney's "Earth" - Blu-ray Forum

Earth has already been released outside the US, and indeed is available on DVD in the UK (but not on Blu-ray IIRC). I believe that it does have some "new" footage, but nothing major and the bulk if footage already used in Planet Earth.

It does however had new narration and (in the UK at least) a slightly different edit.

Correction: I see Lionsgate have released Earth on Blu-ray in the UK, and according to Liesinc, it's region free too.

this will be released 9/1, is this the only post for it or Galdiator/Braveheart gets all attention

or having BBC Planet Earth will downgrade this one as not worth it??

but UK pics do not show Disney logo, UK title is £ 6.98 Euros and Disney title @ amz is $26.99 USD

And the UK version has Patrick Stewart doing the voice over as opposed to James Earl "I voice over everything" Jones

The US BD has "Filmmkaer Annotations" exclusive to Disney:

Plus a DVD copy of the film.

The picture quality on the blu ray of this movie is outstanding, as it is with all Disney blu ray discs, the audio is good too.
