I have the launch 60GB PS3 model and I heard that the cell processor is the older version that is less efficient and noisier than the newer version found in newer PS3's. I also heard that after 2007, the 80GB model PS3's lack SACD and backwards compatibility completely. Is that true? If so, I may be in the market for a 2007 80GB PS3. If anyone is willing to answer my somewhat off-topic question, then great.
