Gah. In the 2013 game - the bit where you end up in the fast moving water and you gotta dodge the crates and wall barriers made from spikes/carved out wood I got a spike in the stomach and/or neck close to a dozen times before I got the timing right.

Which is a shame because the overly edgy crap they do to make it M is hilariously bad. Camilla is so not tough sounding, so her yelling at people and calling them c***s, f*****s, and more is... not very effective. She has the voice of a pipsqueak. It's worse in Rise where she swears consistently. It feels like a kid who just learned "bad words" and is showing off on the playground.

Composer Nathan McCree has put together a Kickstarter to have music from the original three games performed by an orchestra and subsequently released on CD and vinyl.

To be fair the game it's based off of is M. It goes so far over the top to be R rated it's really cringe inducing though. Lara shouts out and calls people c***s in her little pipsqueak voice. It's adorable that they think it's supposed to be badass.

Really looking forward to this. The reboot TR game series are by far the best TR games so the movie being based on them is a huge plus.
