Yes, it's set for 1080p.

No I did not mess with my TV settings for trying to get a better picture.

And sorry, did not realize it came with cables. hahahah Whoops. But yes, it is using HDMI.

You can see tiny flickering in the background. Like a lot of noise almost. It's not always there. It makes everyone look like they have freckles, but they move a lot.
